Denise Griffin

Denise Griffin began her career teaching students with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. After nearly a decade, she expanded her expertise to include general education students. Leveraging her extensive experience in both special and general education, Denise transitioned to a district instructional coach role, where she supported teachers and administrators with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) at district, school, and classroom levels.


Denise played a pivotal role in implementing CHAMPS and Foundations across all 70 schools in the district. This experience ignited her passion for coaching, leading her to a district-level position focused on the development, enhancement, and sustainability of MTSS initiatives.


Denise has experience training Foundations, CHAMPS, The Tough Kid, Interventions, and Coaching. Of all her responsibilities, she finds the greatest fulfillment in supporting teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators, witnessing firsthand the transformative impact of her work on countless lives.
