Laura Klubert

Laura Klubert began her educational career in 1987 as a special and general education teacher. She spent 29 years in Alief ISD in Houston, TX. Her experience in the classroom for 10 years ranged from special education teacher for middle and high school students with learning and emotional behavioral challenges to middle school science teacher in various alternative settings.

She served as a secondary counselor for 7 years, then transitioned to administrative district support, working with over 10 campuses for 13 years supporting new and seasoned teachers with classroom management, serving as a behavioral specialist, and coaching campus and administration teams on Safe & Civil Schools STOIC and Foundations best practices.

She provided ongoing professional development training to numerous staff, students, parents, and community members, and also served as a districtwide crisis team member.

Since 2017, Laura has provided professional development for teachers, administrators, and support staff both as a Safe & Civil Schools trainer and as an independent consultant and virtual teacher coach.
